Why This Site Exists

Now, maybe more than ever, "We the People" need to encourage the practice of taking an active role in our government. We need to establish precedence that we will not stand by and allow elected officials to pursue their own agendas. We must not stand back and assume that someone else is watching out for our best interests. We have an obligation to ourselves and our children to ensure that our freedoms are protected.

Elected officials need to be reminded on a daily basis that they represent the people, that their decisions will be observed, and accountability will be recognized at elections. Our politicians need constant feedback, whether in support of or questioning a particular action, in order to maintain the ability to represent the people.

DearPolitician.org is a non-partisan organization here to help you communicate with your elected officials. We have made it simple for you to send them a letter. By maintaining an active role in our government, by watching how they vote on issues and bills, and by letting them know we are seeking truth and are concerned with the outcomes of those decisions, we can remind our politicians they have been chosen by the people, for the people.

Remember, our freedom was not given to us by a few; many came together, some sacrificially, to ensure that we would stand as "one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." Consequently, our freedom will not be maintained by the few, but rather, by our united voice. In this age of technology and with the ease in which we can communicate with our officials, our voices will be impossible to ignore.

Please help shape your future and more importantly, shape the future for our children. We are proud to help you express your views-whatever they may be-to your elected officials.

Sincerely,

Anthony Walz
